- I love i play. swim diapers! We used them last summer starting with my son when he was 4 weeks old. These diapers even held in the runny poop from back then with no issues. Towards the end of the summer we went up a size for him and this summer we bought him 3 new swim diapers from i play. I found the size chart to be super useful when I was buying for him at 4 weeks because he was big for his age. I love that they break it down based on size and weight. So much more convenient with babies since they all develop at different speeds. Also, I really love the snaps! So convenient when they are wet!
- These fit our chunky little 1 year old perfectly! He weighs 30 pounds and a regular style bathing suit bottom would look silly down past his knees! My daughter and I love all of the swim diapers that I ordered for him.
- There's a lot of bang for your buck with these swim diapers. Although my little man is only two months, I ordered according to the weight (he's a little chunk!) and the 6 month size seems to fit him okay. Although they are reuseable and do seem like they will stand the test of time, at 10.00 a pop it's totally worth ordering a few for vacation. The prints are adorable and from what I understand, new prints are rolled out each season. We are looking forward to seeing what they have next year when he's outgrown these. I purchased the sealife and submarine prints for my little guy, along with a lobster print wetbag from the same company for easy storage after they are used. We are looking forward to using them at our upcoming beach vacation, but for now I test drove them in the bath. Some of the selling points for me when purchasing was the 3 layer design and UPF 50, which protects baby's skin. I was amazed at how thick the inside of the diaper was, which makes it super absorbent. I actually may weight the diaper dry and then after I take it out of the water-just out of curiosity- because it was dramatically heavier from all of the water it was holding. Still, it did not seem to sacrifice the fit or pull off of baby's bottom, and amazingly enough it wasn't leaking all over my floor when I removed it. The description of these diapers boasts that no other swim diaper will be needed underneath and although we haven't had an accident in them yet, I'm fully ready to trust this brand. Nothing is more embarrassing than a huge baby blowout in a friends pool (or so I hear ;) )
